Our team treats common mental health conditions, including:

For patients with severe conditions needing around-the-clock supervision and care, we can help connect you with our inpatient psychiatry service or other appropriate higher levels of care.
New Patients: Intake Appointments for Behavioral Health Services
If you are a new patient looking to make an appointment with a social worker or psychiatrist at the Gregory P. Shadek Behavioral Care Center at Englewood Health, the first step is a short intake assessment. These assessments are conducted by telephone.
Use our online self-scheduling system below to schedule your intake assessment. Our intake team may then refer you to an appropriate social worker or psychiatrist for psychotherapy and/or medical treatment.
There is no charge for these calls, but you will be asked to provide your insurance information.

Community Services
In addition to providing one-on-one treatment, The Gregory P. Shadek Behavioral Care Center invests in our community. We have developed partnerships with organizations to focus on various education and awareness-raising programs, as well as prevention and outreach. These programs include:
- Addressing the opioid epidemic in our community through addiction training and free NARCAN® (naloxone) kits
- Promoting our stigma-free designation and training on how to adopt a destigmatizing philosophy to care
- Hosting and coordinating educational events for the community around important issues, such as addiction and youth anxiety
