About Jae Shim, MD
Dr. Shim is a family medicine physician. His primary clinical interests are primary care, adult health, men’s health, adolescent medicine, geriatric medicine, chronic disease management, health screenings, prevention, and wellness. Dr. Shim received his MD from Ross University School of Medicine, in Dominica, West Indies, and did a family medicine residency at Martin Army Community Hospital, in Fort Benning, GA. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. In addition to English, Dr. Shim is fluent in Korean.
As a military veteran and practicing physician, I recognize that compassion, communication, and understanding are paramount in providing outstanding patient care. In my practice, I strive to foster a strong rapport with my patients to ensure optimal health outcomes. I enjoy educating patients and their families on the importance of preventative health and encouraging them to live healthier lives.
