Postgraduate vascular training requires the completion of a certified five-year general surgical program with General Surgery board eligibility or certification. The application process includes verification of the preparatory training and a personal interview. Selection of a candidate is based on credentials, references, interview, past achievements and assessment of work ethic and compatibility with the hospital work-force and care of patients.

- December 4, 2024: December cycle fellowship programs may begin reviewing applications at 9 a.m. ET.
- May 31, 2025: ERAS 2025 season ends at 5 p.m. ET.
